With baseball season ending, it’s time to knuckle down and hope the Rangers can pull off a winning season, something they haven’t done in years. Hey, have a little faith; it’s possible. If anything, at least fans can still enjoy all-day tailgating parties, horseshoe games and firework Fridays. Even more exciting is this weekend’s series against the Red Sox. Michael Young, Josh Hamilton and Big Papi on the same field should be enough to reel you in, but if you’re not so interested in the players, perhaps the foot-long hot dogs and ice cream will persuade you. Oh, and don’t forget about the post-game fireworks show on Friday and $1 ice cream for the kids on Sunday. After all, there’s only two months of baseball left before it’s all over, at least until spring comes around again. The guys take on Boston this weekend at the Ballpark in Arlington at 7:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:05 p.m. Sunday. Tickets range from $11 to $85.
