When people think of Dallas, John F. Kennedy and pivotal events in American history, they think of bullets. However, the JFK Museum endeavors to supplement that experience with a more positive one. The SNCC Experience in Dallas features interviews with 1960s civil rights activists Bishop Emeritus Mark Herbener, Ernest McMillan and Edward Harris, who will comment on their experiences working toward racial equality. The SNCC Experience begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Seventh Floor Gallery of the Sixth Floor Museum, 411 Elm St. Admission is free. Reservations required. Call 214-747-6660, ext. 6625 or e-mail programs@jfk.org.
Wed., Sept. 6, 7 p.m.
