Living the Christian life is certainly no walk in the park. Combined with the struggles of adolescence, the spiritual challenges can be daunting to say the least. Take it from a preacher’s kid who took a bumpy, circuitous route to the Lord. So, my hat is off to the young people who pursue Godly devotion at an early age. Six Flags Over Texas is encouraging that effort and will host Christian Youth Weekend Friday and Saturday as a part of its weekend concert series. Contemporary Christian music artists Audio Adrenaline, Kutless, Hawk Nelson, Disciple, Mercy Me and Natalie Grant will bring their music with a message in performances at the Six Flags Over Texas Music Mill Amphitheater beginning each night at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 plus the price of admission to the park.
