Everybody loves a bad boy, especially one who dazzles you by flying you to Havana and getting you drunk on tropical cocktails. And especially, that is, if you are a female missionary dedicated to saving the soul of said bad boy. This love story is just one thread in the tune-filled Guys and Dolls, a 1950s tale of gentlemanly gamblers and the women who love them. Women like Adelaide, a cabaret dancer who’s been engaged for 14 years to the gambler Nathan Detroit, and the aforementioned Sarah Brown, an upright, uptight member of Save-a-Soul Mission who can’t resist the suave charms of high-rolling Sky Masterson. So much rides on a toss of the dice in Repertory Company Theatre’s production of Guys and Dolls at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at 650 N. Coit Road, No. 650, in Richardson.
