With the signs of Christmas showing up earlier every year, it was probably inevitable that it would rub shoulders with some of its neighbors, but this is a different story altogether. The Moxley Manor Haunted House summons the spirit of Halloween from the grave for the house’s second annual A NightScare Before Christmas, an off-season Noel from hell. The holiday horrors include festive blood-spattered décor, flesh-eating zombie elves and a maniacal Santa Claus who seems to have done away with his list of naughty and nice in favor of an all-out extermination of children everywhere. If you’re lucky, the belly jiggling like a bowl full of jelly will slow him down. If not, you might lose your voice screaming. Oh well. Who wanted to sing Christmas carols anyway? The gauntlet of Yuletide terror runs every Saturday from November 26, through December 17 at the historic Moxley Manor Haunted House, 510 Harwood Drive in Bedford. Doors open at 8 p.m. Admission starts at $15. For more information, call 682-231-1313 or visit moxleymanor.com.
Saturdays, 8 p.m. Starts: Nov. 26. Continues through Dec. 17, 2011
