On the off-chance your own seventh-grade English teacher didn’t make you study the book for four months, and in case you’ve lived beneath a rock for the past century, the Artisan Center Theater has got your back. They’re putting on a production of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird at The Belaire Plaza. See Atticus Finch defy prejudice from all angles. Try and figure out what’s going on with Tom Robinson’s left hand before the dramatic reveal. I’m guessing Boo Radley will have to be stealthier, because in a kind of Shakespeare-does-the-Deep-South way, the show will be in a 150-seat theater-in-the-round through October 30. Reserved tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for students and seniors and $9 for children 12 and younger. Monday though Thursday tickets are $12. The Belaire Plaza is located at 420 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Call the box office at 817-284-1200 or visit ArtisanCT.com.
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 3 p.m. Starts: Oct. 8. Continues through Oct. 30, 2010
