Santa and his crew aren’t the only ones running around this Christmas. That’s right; it’s time to throw on those hoodies, earmuffs and just about any other winter gear you own for this year’s annual Dallas Jingle Bell 5K Run. Sure, Christmas is all about family and food, but why not run around with a few friends just before the big day? Not a runner? Sign up for the one mile fun run/walk. Don’t forget to bring the pooches along for the jingle stroll. The race kicks off 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hilton Anatole, 2201 Stemmons Freeway. Registration fees vary depending on the runners’ age and race category. Participants can register online through December 20, or on the day of the race beginning at 4 p.m. For more information, visit raceit.com.
