We’ve never been huge fans of Bob Marley (hippies killed him for us long ago), but we certainly respect the guy. After all, he recorded several legendary albums and turned the world onto reggae, all while fathering 13 children by 10 mothers, several of which would go on to beat his legacy into the ground Bocephus-style. The latest Marley to grab onto Bob’s famous coattails (or maybe his dreadlocks) is Stephen, who released his first solo album in March at the age of 34. One could argue that he paid his dues working behind the scenes as a producer (for his brother Damien and others) and as a member of Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, but when your dad is Bob Marley and you play reggae music, we thinks your dues were waived at birth, mon. See how he stacks up to Poppa Bob 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Granada Theater, 3524 Greenville Ave. If you can’t find it with Mapquest, just follow your nose, mon. Tickets are $21 to $22. Visit granada-theater.com.
