Being an avid collector of sweet rock show posters, I’ve always been fascinated by screenprinting. Unfortunately I have neither the skill or the sense of color to ever attempt screenprinting something on my own. Ditto for lithographs, woodcuts, mezzotints, engraving and pretty much anything else besides pencils, pens and crayons. If you’d like to see examples of the art forms created by people with actual talent, check out Art of the Print, a new exhibit now open at the Latino Cultural Center, 2600 Live Oak St. Shown for the first time outside its home at the Art Museum of the Americas located in Washington, D.C., the exhibit consists of Latin American print art by 50 different artists from Central and South America.
