Soprano Ailyn Pérez is beautiful and ridiculously talented. She’s also married to a gorgeous, talented man, a tenor named Stephen Costello. Some people are just lucky like that. For the rest of us, it’s awfully fun to watch an attractive couple with insanely beautiful voices perform together on stage, which is exactly what you can do at 2:00pm Sunday at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts. Costello and Pérez recently released a CD (Love Duets, Warner Classics) showcasing their combined vocal virtuosity through some of opera’s most seductively beautiful love songs. The Eisemann Center recital, presented by The Dallas Opera, will feature duets from the album, including favorites from operas like La bohème and La traviata as well as classic Broadway love songs by Bernstein and Rogers and Hammerstein. The Eisemann Center is located at 2351 Performance Dr. in Richardson, TX. Tickets are $25 and are available for purchase by calling the box office at 972.744.4650 or visiting eisemanncenter.com.
