If you go to this show, the first thing you’ll ask is, “Hey, isn’t that the guy from A Few Good Men?” It’s Kevin Pollak! Before he told T. Cruise he’d prefer him over his father, “Any day and twice on Sunday,” Pollak performed stand-up in knitted sweater vests and mock turtlenecks. His delivery is speedy, his cadence Micro Machine Man-esque and his impressions are spot-on. He runs a clean show and speaks to everyday irritations that are metaphorical fingernails on the chalkboard that is society. You can see him perform a live special engagement at the Addison Improv on Friday. Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $30 with dinner available, and tickets for the 10:30 p.m. show are $20 with NoDoz available … because it’s late! Also, we’re kidding! NoDoz isn’t even available! So if you want comedy greater than that, see Pollak. He’s a pro. Pollak will also perform Thursday and Saturday. See the schedule at improv.com.
