Kaleidoscopes! Collage boxes! Explosions! Sounds fun, doesn’t it? The participants in A Group Show: Nine Texas Artists at Haley Henman Gallery must think so, because they incorporate those things in their exhibit. An eclectic mix of sculpture, ink, collage and digital technique comprises the show, which includes work by Brad Abrams, Summer Morgan, Alice Procter and Julie Stevenson. Luckily, the explosions are figurative. Literal explosions? Not so fun. The show is from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, noon to 8 p.m. Thursdays and by appointment through February 16 at Haley Henman Gallery, 2335 Hardwick St. Admission is free. Call 214-749-1277 or visit haleyhenman.com.
Thursdays, 12-8 p.m.; Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, 12-5 p.m. Starts: Jan. 17. Continues through Feb. 16, 2008
