Unless you’ve lived in the same abode your entire life, one can’t help but sympathize with Alexander, protagonist of Alexander Who’s Not, Not, Not, Not, Not Going to Move. After all, moving is a giant pain in the ass. First you have to pack (“When did we get so much stuff? Why did we save all these magazines?”). Then you have to load (“What the hell is in this TV? Bricks?”). Then you have to borrow or rent a truck. (If possible, don’t ever buy a truck. Or if you do, don’t let your friends know that you bought a truck.) Then you have to find friends willing to work for beer. And then you have to clean (“Who did this to the floor? Did the cat do this?”). In the end it’s usually enough to make you want to stay.
