Love knows no season, but a new show at Cohn Drennan Contemporary is a pretty good warm-up for the most romantic of all months. The Dallas Design District gallery is showcasing three sets of couples who work in the arts, including Cohn and Cathy Drennan, who’ve befriended many other artists in love. “I was always curious if they influenced each other’s work or if an individual’s direction could be altered by a life partner,” Cohn Drennan, former director of the Wichita Falls Museum of Art, writes in an introduction to the exhibition. There’s something to ponder over an intimate dinner with your sweetie. But don’t wait until Valentine’s Day to see the show, which also features work from Fort Worth artists Angel Fernandez and Winter Rusiloski and Oklahoma City’s Tony Dyke and Susan Morrison-Dyke; it closes on Feb. 12. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Call 214-708-8051 or visit cohndrennancontemporary.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: Jan. 18. Continues through Feb. 12, 2011
