“Good teenagers, take off your clothes.” If that sentence sounds familiar, you may have spent time trying to find creepy messages in Disney movies, or you may be a pervert whom we all hope is reading this while tucked safely into your maximum-security cell. Animated Disney hero Aladdin is suspected to have whispered the naughty phrase while dismissing Princess Jasmine’s totally friendly, non-man-eating tiger, Rajah. Purists insist Aladdin says, “Good kitty, take off and go.” Regardless, let us hope that Theatre Arlington’s all-youth production of Aladdin Jr., based on the Disney screenplay, doesn’t involve live tigers or “good teenagers.” Some kid trying to imitate Robin Williams will be terrifying enough. Aladdin Jr. runs through March 9 at Theatre Arlington, 305 W. Main St. in Arlington. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10. Visit theatrearlington.org.
Fridays, Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: Feb. 22. Continues through March 9, 2008
