Not every comedian started as an electrical engineer inspired by time spent on the Oldsmobile Cutlass assembly line, but Loni Love isn’t everybody. She’s a former Xerox employee who graduated from Prairie View A&M. I know, right?!? These days, you can find her on Chelsea Lately where she and Chelsea go at it like an old married couple. And you know you always root for Love because she’s less bitchy and her face — less pinched. It’s just part of what makes her lovable. Well, that and the steady stream of buffet and big-girl jokes. She’s bringing her full-figured self to The Improv in Arlington (309 Curtis Mathes Way, #147) at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $17, which is slightly more than movie admission and worth it if you’re considering some hunk of junk like The Great Gatsby. And Loni will be, like, the most realistic 3-D ever. If you can’t catch her Sunday, she’ll also be performing shows Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Check improv.com for showtimes.
