Six dudes afraid to grow up — no, it’s not your collection of ex-boyfriends, it’s the subject matter of a new one-man comedy show by Danny O’Connor. He’ll channel a whole clutch of drifters, from the unemployed actor to the war vet to the high school drinking buddies. Created by Danny and his brother Robert, this quirky story unfolds through a collection of wartime letters. Danny absorbs the personas and covers the perils of stunted adulthood through six distinctly different characters. Don’t miss Zero Comedy Show, opening at 8 p.m. Thursday at The Studio Theatre at the Addison Theatre Centre, 15650 Addison Road. All of the proceeds from the opening night performance benefit The Wounded Warrior Project. Additional performances will be Thursdays through Saturdays until February 9. Tickets are $20. Call 972-450-6241 or visit zerotheplay.com.
Thursdays-Saturdays. Starts: Jan. 17. Continues through Feb. 9, 2013
