Kent, you lost me at “and four.”
Do you think you can dance? Do want to “co-star” in Dallas Theater Center’s just-opened production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Wyly Theatre?
DTC posted a challenge this week on its Facebook page. Joseph director/choreographer Joel Ferrell is offering one lucky dancer the chance to join the big finale number of the show – if, that is, you can learn the steps from that video above. It’s not the “Hokey Pokey.” This is genuine Broadway-style choreography full of arm-twisty things and high kicks, pony steps and the “Double Dutch” done in double time. That’s assistant choreographer Kent Zimmerman going through it, step by step, in the video. (It’s a lot harder than these instructions for “Double Dream Hands.”)
