The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden’s Concerts at the Arboretum series taps Dallas-based talent Havana NRG for the ultimate Latin-infused musical garden experience on Tuesday evening. NRG stands for “New Rhythm Generation,” and the energetic Cuban natives live up to their name with an innovative timba sound that combines traditional and popular Cuban music with salsa, funk, R&B and Afro-Cuban folk music. Bring friends, food and drink for a magical evening of picnics and dancing overlooking one of Dallas’ most scenic views of White Rock Lake. Come dressed in theme for a chance to win the “Best Salsa Costume.” The lucky chico or chica will win a one-night stay and breakfast for two at the Rosewood Mansion ($375 value). Gates open at 6 with music kicking off at 7:30. The arboretum is located at 8525 Garland Road. Tickets range from $12 to $27. Visit dallasarboretum.org or call 214-515-6615.
