It’s been a while since you’ve done the time warp, hasn’t it? Somewhere between the step to the right and bringing your knees in tight, Saturday nights spent watching outgoing goth kids dressed as Magenta and Riff Raff went by the wayside. But everyone needs a bit of a mind flip once in a while, and there’s nothing like a couple of errant wedding guests and a house full of gender-bending aliens to put you back in the zone. That’s precisely why you should be bursting with antici….well, you know, over Dallas Theater Center’s production of The Rocky Horror Show. The much-heralded production, helmed and choreographed by DTC’s Joel Ferrell, promises to take you on a strange journey with its fabulous costume and set, as well as the killer rock and roll you know and love. The Rocky Horror Show will be staged at the Wyly Theater, 2400 Flora, beginning with a pay-what-you-can performance at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 11. The show runs through Sunday, October 19 with performances at 7:30 Tuesdays through Thursdays; 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and Sundays at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets run between $18 and $60.
