Forget about the scrapbooking this weekend and create your own unique fabric instead. Sure, it’s easy to find some pretty nifty pillows at a department store, but it doesn’t beat the ones you’ll create on your own. Join instructor Shannon Driscoll as she teaches Cyanotype Photograms on Fabric with botanical specimens, feathers, lace and various other objects. Driscoll will also teach design enthusiasts how to make sensitizing solutions and coat various natural fibered fabrics. Attendees can take home their unique printed fabrics to show off on pillows or use as any other decorative artwork at home. The class lasts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Sunday at Oil and Cotton, 837 W. 7th Street. Admission is $65. For more information, visit oilandcotton.com.
