You can dance if you want to, or, you can just watch some talented folks at magnet school Booker T. Washington do it much more competently. This Friday and Saturday, the Bruce Wood Dance Project debuts two of the nationally acclaimed choreographer’s brand-spankin’-new performances at Booker T’s Montgomery Arts Theatre. On top of the two debuts- the Euro-gypsy-centric “Happy Feet” and the intimate, toned-down “One Last Lost Chance”- Wood and Co. will be performing an oldie but (sexy) goodie in BWDP’s signature work, “Bolero.” Both performances choreographed by the Texas native begin at 8 p.m. in the aforementioned’s Montgomery Arts Theatre, 2501 Flora St. Tickets are $35 or $45, depending on close you wanna sit, and are available at attpac.org.
Fri., June 10, 8 p.m.; Sat., June 11, 8 p.m., 2011
