When we were little, and sometimes even now, we fantasized about the house we would have when we were older. What color would it be? Would it have a basement, or possibly a Batcave? While we’re bummed that our reality is about as far from the Batcave as it gets (although there was that one cave-like basement apartment), many folks would be happy if their reality included shelter at all. Enter Project Playhouse, a Home Aid/Home Builders endeavor that builds and auctions fanciful playhouses to benefit shelters for homeless individuals. Project Playhouse opens Saturday and runs through February 24 at Stonebriar Centre, 2601 Preston Road at Highway 121 in Frisco. Admission is free.
