Eleven Hundred Springs‘ tour dates are full of Texas towns you’ve probably driven through but never stopped in (Gainesville, Stephenville, Helotes, Spring Branch, West Tawakoni, Alpine, Chilicothe, etc., etc), which just goes to show you why they’re one of Texas’ most beloved true country bands—they work hard at it. Like Dwight Yoakam or the Derailers, the band is just slick enough to appeal to fans of pop country while retaining the essence of the hard stuff, which is why this Saturday you should take your Kenny Chesney-lovin’ friends to the Granada Theater, 3524 Greenville Ave., for a little musical education.
