Red Arrow Contemporary (1130 Dragon St.) has quite the spring/summer schedule lined up, but before we race ahead, the Dragon Street art gallery has a milestone to celebrate. In addition to the usual flow of wine and conversation, Red Arrow is turning one year old, and to celebrate the gallery will unveil its Banksy-inspired mailbox installation. Here, attendees will be able to write and “send” postcards, which will be available at upcoming receptions as an interactive art project. This is also the closing reception for the gallery’s current exhibition, visibletraces, featuring work from Texas artists Aaron Munoz, Padaric Kolander and Cary Hulbert. Free swag for the first 20 early birds through the door. Check it out 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Call 214-335-9556 or visit redarrowcontemporary.com for more info.
