Green Bandana Group has been throwing parties Dallas didn’t know it needed for a minute now, and it certainly carved out a spot in our hearts via last summer’s Thursday night Stoneleigh Hotel penthouse parties, featuring the Danny Church Band. Those hazy summer nights have given way to more art/fashion/music parties, but GBG isn’t just about the see-and-be-seen scene: Visit greenbandanagroup.com and you’ll find thoughtful essays on the Dallas arts scene, and culture as commerce. The 500, Green Bandana’s new “social club,” hosts “Gloria,” its first event of 2013 at Conduit Gallery (1626 C Hi Line Drive), featuring music by the aforementioned Danny Church Band as well as art, poetry and DJs. Hats, crowns and headdresses are also encouraged, as it is Easter eve. Quick sell: open bar and cupcakes. It starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15. Visit greenbandanagroup.com for more info.
