There’s more to Texas plants than the bluebonnet, and the Heard Spring Plant Sale proves it, with offerings that include native grasses, perennial vines, roses, herbs and rare trees. The Heard Spring Plant Sale is from 4 to 7 p.m Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary, 1 Nature Place in McKinney.
