Is that a pencil in your pocket, or are you just happy to see Taffeta Darling? The pin-up model and perennial Comic Con costume sweetheart is the model for this month’s Dr. Sketchy sketching session, a whole new experience in drawing classes. To hell with bowls of fruit and strategically draped coy student models. Dr. Sketchy models are a cast of burlesque dancers, roller-derby chicks and other varieties of hot eye candy. And along with some fine artistic inspiration from Miss Taffeta, you’ll also be privy to tons of fun and games (and drinking, of course) with prizes from Baby Tattoo. Grab your art school supplies and join the session with Dr. Sketchy from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at its new Deep Ellum home, Three Links, 2704 Elm St. Session admission is $10, though it’s free to watch for the easily distracted and less artistically inclined.
