If you haven’t already, it’s about time you make the yearly visit to the attic, lug all of those boxes marked “Christmas” down the stairs, and get to decorating for the holidays. Of course, the tree could always use a few new, unique ornaments, right? That’s right, the 16th Annual Blue Yule Holiday Party and Fundraiser is back, and the hand-crafted ornaments, music and silent auction are calling your name. This year’s ornaments will be judged in three categories: most festive, most divine and most outrageous. Not a big fan of shopping? Enjoy the sounds of The Meadows World Music Ensemble with a glass of wine and a bite to eat. The fundraiser for McKinney Avenue Contemporary kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and lasts until 7:30 p.m. at 3120 McKinney Ave. General admission is $20, $10 for students and teachers. Admission for MAC members is $15. For more information, call 214-953-1212, or visit the-mac.org.
