While the Dallas Stars and the rest of the NHL were in the midst of a lockout, the Fort Worth Brahmas were kicking hockey butt and building up a local following. One of the top teams in the Central Hockey League, the Brahmas have been on quite a roll, and with only four home games left in the regular season, we recommend it’s high time to catch a good fight, er, hockey game before playoffs. The Brahmas are battling the Arizona Sundogs in two games this weekend, and Friday’s is sure to be a crowd pleaser, as it’s also World Record Night (last year’s records included the most simultaneous fist bumps and the longest air hockey match). The Brahmas take on the Sundogs at 7:30 p.m. at the NYTEX Sports Centre, 8851 Ice House Drive in North Richland Hills. Tickets are $13 to $35, but breaking a world record is priceless.
