This installment of the Dallas Museum of Art’s (1717 N. Harwood St.) Arts & Letters Live series pairs Texas actors with Texas authors. Dallas-born actor Stephen Tobolowsky (Glee, Deadwood, True Stories) will sign copies of his new book, The Dangerous Animals Club, as well as read his essay “F.A.Q.” Spring, Texas-born soap star turned screen star Matt Bomer, most recently seen strutting in Magic Mike, will read Ron Carlson’s poignant short story “Milk.” Dallas writer and teacher Reis Myers McCormick, who recently finished a documentary called Cowboys of Color, reads her essay “The Shape of Things to Come.” And Dallas theater star Allison Pistorius reads “Gold Star,” a story from Siobhan Fallon’s sobering army-wife novel, You Know When the Men Are Gone.
