For many children, Santa Claus’ impending arrival is first signaled by his appearance at the end of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. But when I was a kid, you didn’t even think about Santa coming until Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band said so, usually by launching into a kick-ass live version of “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town.” Assuming the plotline of Casa Mañana’s Santa Claus Is Coming to Town follows the Boss’ example, audiences are in for some heartwarming holiday fun. Will Clarence find a shiny new saxophone under the tree this Christmas? You’ll have to see to find out. Catch Santa at Casa Mañana, 3101 W. Lancaster Ave. in Fort Worth, through December 24. Tickets are $13 to $17. For tickets and showtimes, call 817-332-2272 or visit casamanana.org.
