One day, when my sugar daddy comes along, he’s going to buy me a purple Lamborghini. That’s right, I said purple. However, today is not that day. For now, I’ll have to be satisfied lusting after the sweet rides parked at NorthPark Center during the AutoShow. There’s a little something for everyone who involuntarily drools at the mere mention of ramped-up horsepower (dads who drive minivans, I’m talking to you.) More than 25 cars and trucks from several manufacturers will be on display, including Cadillac, Jaguar, Lexus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and yes, Lamborghini. The NorthPark Auto Show begins Friday and runs through June 20 at NorthPark Center, 8687 N. Central Expressway. AAA will be there Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. and again on Saturday, June 19 with tips to fine-tune your ride for a summer road trip. Visit northparkcenter.com.
