It happens every year. Winter approaches and brings cooler but shorter days. While you may appreciate the chance to sport a stylish fall jacket, coming home to a dark apartment can be a real bummer. What if there was something you could look forward to? On Saturday, the Log Cabin Village in Fort Worth hosts a candle-making class, where you can dip wicks in wax and bring home your very own candle. Just the thing to brighten up our homes. Show up at 2100 Log Cabin Village in Fort Worth from 1 to 4 p.m. for the workshop. Regular admission is $4 to $4.50, plus $3 for candle-making supplies. Call 817-392-5881 or visit logcabinvillage.org.
