We first met Savion Glover when he was just a wee oneâ€â€tap, tap, tappin’ his way onto Broadway (as well as screens big and small) and into our hearts. He was only 10 when he first appeared on the scene, but now he’s 33â€â€with stage, film, directing and dance credits out the wazoo and a Tony Award to boot. He’s even learned how to bust a move to the seemingly stiff sounds of a string ensemble: Catch his 50-city touring performance, Classical Savion (presented by TITAS), at SMU’s McFarlin Auditorium at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $14 to $59 and can be purchased at the TITAS Box Office, 3101 N. Fitzhugh, Suite 301, by calling 214-528-5576 or online at titas.org. Youth tickets (K through 12) are $5 and are available through the McFarlin Auditorium Box Office on the day of the show.
Fri., Nov. 3, 8 p.m.; Sat., Nov. 4, 8 p.m.
