Toys for Tots isn’t just a great charity that provides gifts to needy kids at Christmas. They’re also damn good at getting you into awesome events like Trucks for Tots all for the price of a toy. Now they’re using laughter to seduce you into doing good.
The Dallas Comedy House is hosting a hilarious holiday-themed night all for the express purpose of swindling you out of your toys. Every Thursday this month at 8 p.m. the DCH is performing The Improvised Christmas Movie, which riffs on every tired holiday movie trope and even features a Santa Gremlin. If you bring a new, unwrapped toy to the DCH this Thursday not only do you get into the show for free, you also get to see Paul Varghese (the best stand-up comic in Dallas, according to us) at 9:30 with a bevvy of other comics.
