Manchester United has long dominated English soccer’s Premiere League and has a legendary international following. Spain’s Real Madrid is the most accomplished team ever, winning the European club championship a record nine times. On April 9, the two will play each other at Pizza Hut Park. If you’re a Dallas soccer fan, it sounds too good to be true—and it is, sort of. It’s the Under-19 youth teams affiliated with those soccer deities that will clash on the opening night of the Dallas Cup, not the parent clubs. Sigh. But fans will still see some spectacular soccer when 184 youth teams square off in the invitation-only tournament. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for those under 18, for all three Sunday games at Pizza Hut Park, 6000 Main St. in Frisco, including Man U versus Real at 7 p.m. All-tournament passes are $35.
