The newly opened Veuve is a monster of a restaurant (10,000 square feet, complete with a waterfall) designed to play on your senses, and they’re pulling out all the stops to make a good impression. Here, you can pay attention to the man behind the curtain as Executive Chef Tony Gardizi puts himself in a glass box, on display for all who want to see him do his thing—literally. He’ll be whipping up a four-course meal of “seasonal global cuisine” in his glass-encased chef’s gallery for his cooking class/chef presentation debut. Chef Gardizi’s demonstration starts 7 p.m. Saturday at Veuve, 5100 Belt Line Road. Tickets are $30. Call 972-788-1928 or visit veuvedallas.com.
