I’ve always wondered what it would be like to attend a fancy event with fancy food and even fancier people. Honestly, the closest I’ve been to one of those fancy gatherings is through watching the Real Housewives throw weekly bashes on Thursday nights. Food for Thought is back for its second benefit with food, drinks, live music and a silent auction. Proceeds benefit Big Thought, an arts-based creative-learning non-profit. The benefit serves primarily as a local celebrity chef event, where chefs set up tables and serve signature hors d’oeuvres. Chefs preparing food this year include Food Network’s Lisa Garza and Central 214’s Blythe Beck. The benefit kicks off from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Tower Club, 1601 Elm St. Regular admission is $75. For more information, go to foodforthoughtdallas.com.
