From eyeballs to scribbles and a few unrecognizable objects, Glenn Downing’s drawings and sculptures are definitely a sight to see. The Texas native has traveled all over the world just to return to Texas and has brought his artwork to the gallery lovers of the metroplex. In his latest exhibition, Focus Gallery One: Southpaw, Downing asks viewers to expect sarcasm, animals, humor, pretty colors, ugly things and tons of other random feelings and adjectives implemented in his work. Downing’s exhibition is open through February 20 at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, located at 1300 Gendy St. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, call 817-738-1938 or go to fwcac.com.
