Is your garage looking more like a thrift store these days or can you barely get into your closet because it looks like it should be on one of those hoarding reality shows? Hey, we know you’re not a hoarder, you’re an appreciator of things, which is why you should consider selling some of that stuff to make room for the new stuff you’re going to buy. See how that works?
You don’t need to have your own garage sale or even a garage to facilitate the selling of stuff because McKinney Avenue Contemporary is hosting the Gem & Junk Sale on Saturday, September 24. The MAC is looking for interested sellers to participate in the bejeweled garage sale, so after the jump find out how you can get involved. Then let us know how much you’re charging for that futon.
Artists sell hand crafted works, gently used items and other riffraff during our open-air market makeshift yard sale. Gems & Junk offers the Uptown community a chance to meet with local artists, for artists to sell their work and the public to explore another man’s treasures. Hang out with us on a Saturday afternoon with ice cold beer, lemonade and plenty of bargains!
Saturday, September 24 2:00-5:00pm in The MAC parking lot
