Who knew lobster could be part of so many recipes? Outside of seeing the little guys crawl around in a tank at the grocery store, I really didn’t think they actually tasted good in soup. Apparently they do, and in many other forms as well. The Plano Cooking School’s manager, Dean Liesenfelt, will show lobster lovers how to get the most flavor out of the red sea creatures with a menu including lobster bisque, grilled lobster, stuffed lobster tail and lobster risotto. The Lobster Mania class is set for Saturday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Central Market in Plano, located at 320 Coit Road. Reservations are required, and tickets are $75. For more information, call 469-241-8389 or go to cookingschoolsofamerica.com.
