Whether you watch classic movies regularly or not, chances are you’ve seen Billy Wilder’s Some Like it Hot, or at least a few scenes from what is, arguably, the ‘greatest comedy of all time.’ You know: Jack Lemmon and the beautiful Tony Curtis simultaneously pulling and not pulling off their feminine disguises and the ultra-sexy Marilyn being, well, ultra-sexy as Sugar. Oh, you haven’t seen the 1959 classic? Well. Nobody’s perfect. Good news though. At 12:30 p.m. Sunday, everyone’s favorite cinema house that is also a tasty lunch spot will be screening the film so you can remedy that gaping hole on your pop culture resumé. Grab your usual brunch associates, head to Alamo Drafthouse and spend your Sunday afternoon with Daphne, Geraldine and the band. Oh and try the specialty themed cocktails, we’re personally looking forward to “Sugar’s Champagne Cocktail” replacing our usual 12:30 mimosa(s). Five dollar tickets and more information are available at drafthouse.com.
