If you believe Vegas bookies, the Cowboys have a better chance to reach the 2010 Super Bowl than the Carolina Panthers. Neither team has great odds, mind you, because of that guy who plays for the Patriots. But it stands to reason the Cowboys should hand the Panthers their tightly clad behinds Monday night. However, if I were a betting woman–and I am–I’d keep in mind what all Cowboy fans know deep in their repeatedly broken hearts: America’s Team has a tendency to crash and burn at critical moments. I’m not naming names. But when the offensive bromance between Romo-Barber-Witten gets hot, they’re smoking. Like a former Cowboys wide receiver who-shall-not-be-named used to say, “Getcha popcorn ready!” Ah, the good ol’ days. Experience Monday Night Football live at Cowboys Stadium (tickets at ticketmaster.com) or watch televised Cowboys vs. Panthers, Monday at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN or KTXA-Channel 21.
