Inevitable in every Fast and Furious flick is the tension-filled moment when pimped-out cars gather before an oh-so important street race. Gauntlets are thrown. Vin Diesel’s bald head shines threateningly in the headlights. Scantily clad girls with 10 percent body fat inexplicably dance around the cars. Does this happen in real life? The Torres Empire Family Affair Car Show will deliver the custom cars and the scantily clad chicks. No promises of Vin Diesel though. The show is backed by Torres Empire, a custom car shop in Arlington. The car show promises flashy lowriders and ballin’ bikes, hot rods and trucks in all colors, with every possible gimmick and accessory. This year’s show proves special in terms of entertainment: Ice Cube will be performing. The custom rides will be on display for one day only, Sunday at Dallas Market Hall, 2200 N. Stemmons Freeway.
