The Texas Rangers break hearts in North Texas every year, maybe even more so than our beloved Cowboys. We expect the Cowboys to win, and we get pissed when they don’t. But the Rangers always give us just a glimpse of greatness; the team always seems to heat up this time of the year, full of potential, and then they crash. But this year may be different. After some initial struggles, Josh Hamilton is back in good form and Vladimir Guerrero is terrific, giving us hope once again that maybe, just maybe, the Rangers are destined to be contenders for the World Series. Maybe I just listen too much to the Ticket, but I’m really liking their odds. See what the buzz is about as the Rangers take on the Cleveland Indians 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at the venerable Ballpark in Arlington, 1000 Ballpark Way.
