Big comedy news o’clock, everyone, as tickets for Bill Burr’s stand-up show at the Majestic go on sale today. If you don’t think this will sell out faster than a pop star faced with a check from Pepsi, you’re going to be disappointed next week.
A fixture across all kinds of media, when he’s not busy making people laugh you can find Burr in Breaking Bad or Grand Theft Auto IV, or even in a new film starring Al Pacino and Christopher Walken. His podcasts are worth a listen as well.
The show is April 25, and will presumably feature material from his recent Netflix-exclusive You People Are All The Same.
(Here’s your fact of the day: At peak times Netflix accounts for one-third of all internet bandwidth in the United States. One third. Imagine what it’ll be like when Arrested Development comes out.)
