The Lone Star Circus is offering kids an opportunity to run away and join the circus. They come right back, though, so don’t get your hopes … er, we mean worry. Yeah, don’t worry. The circus is hosting a week-long day camp in which kiddies and teens ages 7 to 16 can develop their trapeze, aerial, juggling, contortion, balancing, trampoline and even clowning skills. The Lone Star Circus School Summer Camp takes place at The Palaestra, a 20,000-square-foot gym at 4335 N. Beltwood Parkway in Farmers Branch, and runs from Monday until Friday, June 15. It costs $45 per day, or $205 for the entire week. For more information, call 214-206-1449 or visit lonestarcircus.org.
Mondays-Fridays. Starts: June 11. Continues through June 15, 2012
