You’ve been making that list, checking it twice, and have decided it’s way more fun to be naughty than nice. Sure, you could curl up in bed with a cup of hot chocolate and a Christmas movie on the DVR, but where’s the fun in that? Especially when you could spice up your holidays with Viva Dallas Burlesque’s Festivus Follies at 8 p.m. Friday in the Lakewood Theater (1825 Abrams Road). Watch the lovely ladies of Viva Dallas make merry as they remove their holiday finery and jingle all manner of bells with the help of burlesque legend Jo “Boobs” Weldon, author of The Burlesque Handbook. Portland’s Angelique DeVil will be on hand to bring some joy to the world … and best of all, you get to stay on Santa’s good side, as proceeds from the event go to benefit Home for the Holidays Texas, an AIDS resource organization.
