It may be a hot time, this summer in the city, so a little Beethoven chamber music will be just the thing. Head down to Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park, stretch out on the grass and enjoy the music. If you’ve never tried Beethoven’s chamber music, there’s all the fire and passion of his fully grown nine symphonies in miniature. Each of the three free concerts in the series (with free parking) will feature a little Beethoven along with other composers including Mozart and Bach. Basically Beethoven Festival concerts begin at 3 p.m. The Gardens are located at 3601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Call 214-520-2219 for information.
Sundays, 2-4 p.m. Starts: July 5. Continues through July 26, 2009
